Closet Tip

Ok, here's the deal.  Less has always been more. Never more so than in these not so fabulous economic times.  To that end it's really time to take stock of what you have, what you really need, and what you can, and should, part with.

If you're walking around the house, your bedroom, your closet in a total daze on a daily basis wondering what to wear, it's time for a cleanout of the closet.
I know I say this in all my posts, but if you have not worn it, used it, accessorized it or even tried it on in a year.....NEWS FLASH!!!! Get it out of your closet!!!!!  An organized home is an organized life and the longer you hold onto that 'stuff' the more it will weigh you down and, really, who needs any more weight, regardless of the exact matter of it?

I'm telling you this:  it will not come back in style, you will not lose the weight, you will not find something to go with it, etc, etc, etc.....there are many 'excuses' to hang on to that stuff but no reason!  Lighten your load, which in turn will lighten your life.

Then, see what you are left with and fill in the blanks with updated pieces as well as some great accessories from Six in the Shipyard.

Problem Solved!

Does it feel like Camilley's Closet is becoming the "Where's Waldo?" of retail?  Well, we have landed at yet another 'oh so' fabulous location.......

We are now at THE LAUNCH @ Hingham Shipyard (of course! What next, Fanueil Hall?).  We closed up shop at our little hut (kiosk) at Derby Street (loved it there, mean it but no indoor space available for my unique(?) idea) and decided to throw yet another retail idea up against the wall and, who knew?, it has stuck!  We are at 18 Shipyard Drive (the main entrance) and in the space just before both Hngham Beer Works and Alma Nova (not too shabby!).

It's no real secret that retail is off the rails along with the economy but we are providing a stop on that unfortunate tour for those that want great gifts, personal items, etc. for an affordable price point!  I've come up with the uber cool name of "SIX IN THE SHIPYARD" and have other vendors in the space and more to come.  Here's the deal..... individually, very tough to pull off a retails space for a small biz even in a good economic climate.  However, let's bring together several fabulous vendors under one roof and see what we can accomplish.

 United We Stand.

And that isn't just for the retail crowd.  Something to keep in mind in the days and months ahead.
